Book #2 from the series: Rock Star Christmas

Holiday Homecoming

About

Step into the festive whirlwind of Holiday Homecoming, a heartwarming romantic comedy set during Thanksgiving and Christmas 2002.

Cassandra “Cassie” Economos is braving Thanksgiving with her family, solo. That’s right, folks, she’s back at the familial nest without her rock-god boyfriend, Nat Hardwick of Dramatic Sneezer fame. Why? Because touring, that’s why! Prepare for the third degree, Cassie, because “frontman for a band called Dramatic Sneezer” doesn’t exactly scream “stable life partner” to the Economos clan.

Meanwhile, Nat is on the road, crafting a heartfelt surprise to prove just how much Cassie means to him. He’s determined to prove to Cassie (and her skeptical family) that his heart beats only for her. Will his surprise be a hit, or will it crash and burn like a poorly timed guitar solo?

But wait, there’s more! Cassie’s cousin Phil is wrestling with his own holiday drama. His wife, Jennifer, is facing a blast from the past in the form of her long-absent father. After a decade of radio silence, he’s back, stirring up a whole cauldron of complicated feelings. Can Phil navigate this emotional minefield and keep the holiday spirit (and his marriage) intact?

Told from four perspectives, this story revisits characters from The Rock Star’s Wife series. It
serves up the holidays with a side of family dysfunction, a heaping helping of romance, and a generous sprinkle of rock-and-roll. So grab a plate, pour yourself a drink, and prepare for a holiday season you won’t soon forget!

Praise for this book

More perfect writing from Melina Druga's honest, Hot and addictive storytelling. Loved it.

You will laugh. You will want to help her strangle her brother and you can feel the eye rolls. The main books in the series are written in Cassie's POV and at times like a diary entry. Once you start this series you can't wait for the next book. Highly recommend.

We all know that holidays can be chaotic, especially when bringing in someone other than family, but it also shows that if you're invited, you are family. Cassie and Jennifer, while having their own issues, are family, even if by marriage, and you can feel the tension, and yet the strength of these young women. A reader can get lost in the story. A very unpredictable story, my favorite kind!

It was a lively read and I read it in 1 day. The characters were quirky and fun. Very enjoyable.
