Over the course of my career, I’ve made multiple publishing mistakes, and with your help I can correct one of them. Some mistakes are easier, and cheaper, to correct than others. Believe me, I have an itemized list. So, I have decided to focus on one: a focused marketing push to help bring renewed visibility to my historical fiction and contemporary fiction books and find them new readers.
I am assembling a team of book reviewers and street team members who are interested in helping support the relaunch of previously published books that did not receive a proper launch when they first debuted. The goal is to give the books the visibility they originally missed and introduce the books to new readers.
All positions are volunteer-based and are ideal for readers who love books, enjoy supporting authors, and want to be part of a collaborative relaunch effort. If you are passionate about reading, reviewing and/or sharing books online, I would love to have you involved. You must have an interest in romance/steamy women’s fiction/chick lit or historical fiction.
Review Team Members
Review team members must have prior experience posting book reviews on retailers’ sites, social media or a blog, and must enjoy sharing thoughtful, honest feedback. Reviewers will receive copies of books (either in the form of an ePub or via a free Kindle Unlimited download) and will be asked to post reviews on specific dates.
Street Team Members
Street team members should have an active and engaged social media presence and be comfortable sharing posts, graphics, and announcements related to the books during the relaunch period. Participants should be comfortable promoting books to their audiences.
If one, or both, of these sound like something you’d enjoy, add your name to the waiting list. And, if you know of other book lovers who would be interested, please share this with them. Please note that the relaunch will only move forward if the number of interested applicants exceeds 100.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting authors and books. I appreciate your consideration and hope you’ll join me in giving these stories the launch they deserve.
